Black Bean Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 green bell pepper finely chopped
  • 1/2 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 2/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 TBSP chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Mash beans in a large bowl

  2. Stir in vegetables and spices

  3. Add beaten egg

  4. Stir in bread crumbs

  5. Form mixture into 4-5 patties

  6. Heat oil in a skillet and cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side
