Simple Hummus

Here's a simple Hummus recipe with ingredients you probably have on hand!

  • 1 can garbanzo beans or chick peas drained and rinsed
  • 2 TBSP water
  • 2 TBSP extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 TBSP lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 3/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp salt


  1. Add ingredients to a blender or food processor

  2. Process until smooth and creamy

  3. Add additional water if too thick

  4. Add additional salt if needed
