Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil or other cooking oil
- 1/2 cup olive oil or other cooking oil
- 1/2 cup sunflower kernels optional
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds optional
- 2 packages coleslaw mix (shredded cabbage)
- 12 green onions chopped
- 1 medium sweet red or green pepper chopped
- 1/3 cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1 package ramen noodles

Toast almonds and sunflower kernels in a large skillet with 1 TBSP oil over medium heat about 4 minutes

In a large bowl, combine coleslaw mix, onions, and peppers

In a small bowl, whisk together vinegar, sugar, pepper, ramen seasoning mix, and 1/2 cup oil

Pour mixture over salad and toss to coat

Refrigerate until serving

Break noodles into small pieces and stir in noodles, almonds, and sunflower kernels just before serving
